If you haven't heard of this remarkable trio then pop over to their blog right now and see what they've been up to these past 7 months. I'm afraid they put my feeble efforts to shame.
HWRCs appear to be an excellent place to recycle all sorts of waste - but not much use if, like me, you don't own a car! My recycling is restricted to kerbside collections and recycling facilities within walking distance. Our plastic recyling facility only accepts types 1,2 and 4 plastic. Fortunately I am not tempted by the free samples of Yakult to go out and buy any more bottles. I'll stick to my homemade yoghurt.
Hi Gareth - hope all's well. just wanted to know that I've got a special award waiting for you at my Rubbish Diet awards night...it's for the Rubbish Blogging Bug :-D

I know exactly what you mean with these basic plastics.
In my area the yakult bottles can be recycled at the HWRC.
