Zero Waist Goes Global

For those of you who read Chinese click here to read about my challenge in the Beijing Youth Weekend newspaper. I was approached through this blog by one of its journalists, Chen qimei, who interviewed me by email. It will be interesting to see what response, if any, it elicits. As I said to Chen qimei in my last email, we are all in this together.

I can't read Chinese, but what a wonderful result. Well done on spreading the word so far. K x

Thanks Mrs A. I used babelfish to obtain a just about intelligible translation. It also referred to 'Green wife' which I suspect may be our very own Mrs Green!

Hehe - I did an interview too, but haven't been able to read it. LOL! Chen wanted to send me a copy of the paper, but I declined; it's a bit extravagant to get something I can't read.
Well done Just Gai - how great that the word is spreading........

Saw the article over at Mrs G's site. That's excellent. Looks like you've cracked China, my word where next :-D

Gareth - are you up for hosting the Carnival of Trash in December on a date of your choosing, any date around the 13th? I'm looking at doing a Christmas theme :-D

Wow Mrs A. Sounds fun. What does it involve?

Well done you too Mrs Green. Your translation sounds just as 'interesting' as mine but I think we get the gist of it. I'll let you know if I receive any feedback.

Hi Gareth - all you need to do is advertise that you're hosting it on your site and then in prep for the day itself I'll send you a chunk of text or html code for you to paste into your blogpost. Easy peasy :-D.
Oh ...and I'll also feature you on my blog :-D x

OK then Mrs A. You're on!

Thank so much Gareth. All I need then is for you to confirm a date when it's okay for you. I'll put in Monday 14th. If it's a prob let me know and I'll change it. Thanks again :-D

Monday 14 is fine thanks, Mrs A.
Do I advertise right away?

Thank you so much. I realise I've got the date wrong for that Monday...it's the 15th Dec. I've now set this up with a deadline of 12th December. Please feel free to advertise it when you like. The more notice the better. The link for submissions is: http://blogcarnival.com/bc/submit_4478.html

And of course the theme for December's Carnival of Trash will be Christmas :-D xxx
